Green in da White house

Washington DC-- Secret Service agents found six marijuana plants growing in a greenhouse at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue last week. The agents were alerted to the illegal plants after a sickly-sweet odour was noticed in the White House last month. The plants were of the Martian Devil Killer variety and yielded about two pounds of weed.

The plants were obviously well maintained and looked very potent. Whoever grew the plants knew what they were doing. Resin from the plants was dripping on the greenhouse floor. The estimated street value of the plants was estimated at $6000.00. The plants were promptly destroyed.

The White House's greenhouse is just off the Oval Office, adjacent to the Rose Garden. President and Mrs. Bush were shocked and ashamed by the discovery. The greenhouse is very modest, it is about the size of an average bathroom. It hasn't been used since Mamie Eisenhower grew poppy and coca plants there in the 1950's. Mrs. Bush fired the White House gardener over the embarrassing discovery.

Everyone assumed either Jenna or Barbara Bush planted the marijuana seeds, but neither twin has slept in the White House in years. The plants seemed destined to become just another White House mystery until today.

Michelle Obama and her two girls were giving an interview to Diane Sewer of 'Good Mourning America' today. Ms. Sewer asked the little girls what they wanted to do at the White House more than anything. The Obama family has visited there a few times already.

"We want our plants back and we want to keep smoking Martian Killer Devil Weed!" they screamed into the camera. The interview was quickly terminated.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
