Elder statesman McCain and his Christian Fundie running mate Sarah Palin accused Barack Obama of being the Anti- Christ who is ushering in the end times and the Battle of Armageddon.
The evidence offered by the Republicans was the 666 points the Dow dropped during the worst financial crisis since Hoover sucked the life out of the American marketplace.
Palin quoted her Wasilla Bible Church pastor, Reverend Rearendtimes: "Thus saith the Lord: The beast with the 666 on its stock ticker will be one of many cultures and brown of color. Fear not , for I will raise up a gimpy old man and a frigid beauty queen and behold they shall conquer the beast and its thinly feathered and forgetful sidekick. And a new age of peace and prosperity will reign upon the land!"
