15-year-old Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus announced today that she endorses Arizona Senator John McCain to be the next president of the United States.
"My dad (country singer Billy Ray Cyrus) told me that McCain wants all rich people to get richer and I'm rich, my dad is rich and my boyfriend (Nick Jonas) is rich so I want him to be president", the youthful diva declared.
Cyrus stated that she wants to remain wealthy throughout her life so she doesn't have to "work for a supermarket or take care of sick people like poor people do".
McCain was delighted to hear of the endorsement and offered praise to the youthful television star. "These are the kind of kids who make America great!", McCain stated. "I hope when my daughter Megan grows up she will be like Miley!"
McCain seemed unaware that his daughter Megan is already 8 years older than Cyrus.
The endorsement of McCain only added to the controversy surrounding the youthful nymphet after she posed in various stages of undress for Vanity Fair Magazine and has had other near-nude photos of herself displayed across the internet.
"I don't think she gives a crap about McCain", said her boyfriend Nick Jonas. "She just likes having her name in the paper. After all, she's the only celebrity who IS endorsing him."
When asked who she endorsed for senate Miley simply asked, "what's a senate?"
Cyrus will be eligible to vote in 2011.
