French Minister for Sanctions Monsieur Fred Grenoille

A jealous President Sarkybozo of France has called on the UN to impose sanctions on France following the dismal performance by the United Nations regarding sanctions against Zimbabwe.

A spokesman confirmed the President was said to be very angry. So much so, that he was said to be right off his Pinot Grigot.

"Over the past decades, there have been sanctions against Cuba, Libya, North Korea and even those large, cute, furry creatures, the Talibannies.

"However, France has now decided that unless it is sanctioned by either the UN or EEC, it will withdraw from Europe and become part of Africa, or even Asia.

"We question" the spokesman continued "what right countries like Cuba and Libya have to be sanctioned, when France, one of Europe's major powers and a producer of so many wonderful smelly cheeses, has received no sanctions at all. Surely the fact that we are French is enough to qualify us to be sanctioned?

"We urgently urge the UN or EEC to take immediate action and sanction France not only forthwith, but fifthwith as well, just to be sure.

"Their recent efficient actions regarding Zimbabwe prove they can do it."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
