In another bid to deflect from the fact that he wont release the Epstein files Donald Trump, somehow the President of the United States, has called for the Department of Defence to change it’s name to “The Department of War”
This distraction (from the fact he wont release the Epstein files, is he in them? Who knows) has been seized upon by other Republicans (who also are blocking the release of the Epstein files. You remember Epstein right? Paedophile, sex trafficker, over all friend to the rich and powerful? We wonder why they don’t want to release those files containing the names of prominent paedophiles?) with Ron Ron DeRon the Senator for Grim Rock Novac saying:
I applaud Mr Trumps decision to rename the Department of Defence in the same way I applaud his decision not to release the Epstein files. This is a man who makes decisions, big decisions and small ones. Decisions about renaming's things decisions about not releasing files that may or may not implicate certain people in certain sexual crimes. He’s a decision maker.
Mr Trump has often managed to deflect controversy away from himself by flat out denying reality. We tried that once but our landlord still wanted his rent. It’s impressive that a adult (never mind a President. A President who ran his campaign of releasing the Epstein files. Files said to contain damming evidence on paedophiles and sexual abusers from the top end of society.), isn't even held to the same standards that we hold children to on matters of truth and consistency.
Mr Trumps supporter's are torn on the decision with some applauding the bold move in renaming the department, others have asked “what’s a department” and many more are saying “where the fuck are the Epstein files Don”
