The United States Supreme Court has just ruled by a vote of 6 to 3, that Ticketmaster must change their name
The ticket sales and distribution company has been put on notice that the name change must occur within 10 days.
The company which is headquartered on Movie Star Street, in Beverly Hills, has received hundreds of thousands of complaints from black organizations saying that the word master in the company name is bigoted and racist.
A representative for Black Lives Matter said that the name has connotations that were very prevalent during the American Civil War.
Meanwhile a spokeswoman for Ticketmaster has informed the public that the new name will be Ticketmister.
