When tickets to Taylor Swift's upcoming tour went on sale recently, Taylor's fans (known as Stylers) defeated Ticketmaster. Broke it right down the middle.
For a few hours, all Ticketmaster could do was to mumble to itself and eat bananas with the peels still on.
Demand for tickets was so high, that Taylor Swift caused other technical anomalies around the country:
- Songs from Taylor's latest album, Midnights, made history when they occupied the top ten spots on Subway's new menu of Signature Sandwiches.
- DMV locations reported only being able to issue certain personalized license plates: TAYLOR, BADBLOOD, SHKITOFF, CARDGN, and NOKAYNE.
- McDonald's ice cream machines became self-aware, continuously played Look What You Made Me Do, apologized for their years of poor service.
