PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - (Satire News) - The governor of Rhode Island has issued a Governor's Executive Action asking that the NRA please leave the state as soon as humanly possible.
In 2018 Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island signed an executive order to allow law enforcement officers to confiscate guns from residents. Now she's gone all out and declared a total war on guns.
Gov. Gina Raimondo said that there is just no place in her wonderfully peaceful state to have NRAers parading around with their AK-15's, AK-47's, bazookas, bows and arrows, and grenade launchers.
She added that it scares the hell out of old, rickety octogenarians as well as it gives kids under the ages of six the most horrible nightmares imaginable.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the NRA says that they want Rhode Islanders to know that the gun group is keeping its citizens free from the terrorist acts of Al-Qaeda, Isis, Hezbollah, the Proud Boys, and the Taliban. ■
