SWEET SMOKE, Colorado – (Satire News) – The Denver Claimer Clarion is reporting that an elderly couple from the town of Sweet Smoke, has just celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary.
Braylen and Mimosa Waffle, were married in 1940, and have lived in the same quaint 2-bedroom home for 80 years.
Braylen is 105, and Mimosa is 103. The Waffles are both in good shape. When asked how they manage to look so good, Mimosa said that they stay in shape by talking, laughing, smiling, and breathing, lots of breathing.
Braylen chimed in and added, “And don’t forget, honey muffin, that once every six months, we do manage to get a little horizontal hokey-pokey into our schedule.
When asked what they did to celebrate the big 8-0, Braylen said he helped his wife shave her underarms.
Mimosa grinned, and said that she helped Braylen shave his tongue.
The two giggled, as they said that one of the neighborhood kids brought them a bowl of very tasty strawberry Jello.
The reporter for the Denver Claimer Clarion spoke to the neighbor boy who admitted that he put an once of marijuana in the Jello.
He laughed as he said that he heard the Waffles singing the Beatles song “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” in Norwegian, over and over and over.
