Atlanta, Georgia. Special to The Spoof. Apparently, Georgia Governor, Brian Kemp, had more in mind when he dismissed the idea of requiring all residents to wear virus-preventing masks with the phrase: "Georgians don't need mandates to do the right thing". Pondering what he said, the governor's face lit up, and he immediately issued several executive orders eliminating numerous other regulatory mandates.

On his hit list, were the required seat belts and special car chairs for children. "Georgians don't need laws to do the right thing!" he said, as he signed the order eliminating the requirement. Then he removed the mandate requiring securely-locked weapons in households with children. "Any father would automatically do that. It's the right thing. We don't need a law." That was followed by removal of requirements dealing with stop signs, RR crossings, jay walking, and a host of other regulations. "We don't need to warn folks. Georgians will do the right thing without a mandate."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
