The White House. Leaked to The Spoof. Donald Trump's psychiatrist, speaking off the record, has revealed to The Spoof that, last night, the president suffered from one of his frequent nightmares, this time in the form of a conversation with Adolf Hitler in the dictator's Berlin bunker.
In reference to Trump's statement yesterday that "I am the chosen one," Hitler reminded the president that Hitler was once "The Chosen One" who ruled by decree - the equivalent of Trump's "Executive Orders."
"Good grief, Don," Hitler said in the dream, "You can't be "The Chosen One" as long as you've got that Congress looking over your shoulder. Get rid of Congress, as I did the Reichstag."
"But look what happened to you in the end, Adolf," Trump responded.
"Chosen Ones nearly always end that way," Hitler replied. "It's been that way throughout history. It's our fate!"
And as Trump pondered Hitler's explanation, his nightmare began with chills, fevers, sweats and the shakes.
