We've heard all of the claims of fake news, manufactured by mainstream news outlets, throughout President Trump's term. So who does POTUS trust for REAL news? You guessed it! The Spoof gets a big nod of approval from the most powerful person in the world.
The president says, "Can you believe this garbage? These crooked fake news artists like CNN, NBC, CBS, NY Times make up these outlandish stories. I am glad the public doesn't fall for it and knows better. Sad."
He continued, "They say and print bad things like Kim Jong Un is a murderous dictator. You should see the beautiful letters I get from Kim...he's a great man who loves daffodils and peace. Totally fake news. The media is disgusting."
"I read that I'm about to bomb Iran. That's crazy fake news too...I would nuke them, which is totally different. Tariffs hurt Americans? I'm going to buy the farmers soybeans myself just to show China they need to stop their crap. I have a great idea for a new Trump wine using those soybeans."
The president surfs many news channels and also sifts through lots of print and Internet news sources daily, and has revealed his "most trusted" news outlets.
"I love The Spoof," he said. "Their writers are true, professional journalists that are dedicated to their job and the truth. My second pick as most accurate news reporting is Fox News, except for Shepard Smith. There's one of those losers in every crowd, I guess."
