Washington - A Russian internet bot took some time off from his busy schedule of circulating far right political nonsense on Facebook and Twitter, after being invited to the Trump Social Media event in Washington yesterday.
The bot, known only by his Facebook identity as Trump Will Triumph Over Pathetic Liberals, received his invite along with other more notable purveyors of conservative fringe political propaganda such as Breitbart, Daily Wire and Infowars.
"It was long flight from Moscow, but I am very happy to attend event today, thanks to Miss Kellyanne Conway for arranging visit", said the bot. "Will enjoy some sights here in America before returning home and plugging into internet to resume job of recirculating old disproven conspiracy theories about Climate, Democrats, Clintons, and AOC for wingnut friends. Very important to support President in his fight against censuring of alternative facts on Facebook and Twitter".
Conway, also present at the gathering on the White House lawn, denied calling the bot in an interview afterwards, blaming Democrats for his attendance.
