Gun Owner Hugs his Weapon Tighter After NRA Gaffe

Washington - NRA spokesman Festus Clark deleted a tweet in which he quoted the full second amendment to the US Constitution, which starts with the words "A well regulated militia......".

Gun owners across the country reacted in horror at the quotation, and called for Mr. Clark's ouster as head of communications for the group.

"Who said anything about regulations" screamed one gun owner in disgust. "Everyone deserves to own an AR-15 or any weapon they want regardless of how crazy they are. Everyone knows this is what the founding fathers wanted. W can't trust the government."

In subsequent communications, Mr. Clark just mentioned the second amendment without actually quoting it.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
