Federal law enforcement officials believe famed rapist Bill "Huxtable" Cosby was beaten mercilessly in his groin area with a "lock-in-the-sock", in a grisly assault inside his prison cell, multiple law enforcement officials briefed on the case told GAYLORD News.
Cosby, 81, was struck repeatedly after several inmates pulled down his pants and attacked him on the morning after he arrived at Pennsylvania state prison, SCI Phoenix, two sources said, Wednesday
TOTAL MUTILATION: Bill Cosby's penis was completely ‘unrecognisable.' Prison killers also tried gouging out the comedian's right eye.
Prison doctor, Abe Steinberg, said Cosby was transferred from the emergency room to an operating room for surgery.
The weapon that is believed to have been used to punish Cosby, a longtime FBI informant explains, involves a lock placed inside a sock, and wielded like a mace.
Andrea Constand is said to have laughed, upon hearing of Cosby's painful penis mutilation.
The inmates who beat Cosby deliberately moved out of view of CCTV before pummelling his penis with the padlock stuffed inside a sock.
Officials told GAYLORD News that federal investigators are eyeing several potential suspects in the Tuesday beating, including a reputed New England mafia hitman.
The inmate, Fotios "Freddy" Geas, 51, is serving a life sentence for a raft of crimes that included the 2003 murder of the one-time leader of the Genovese crime family in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Geas' lawyer, David Horse, described him as someone who loathed rich celebrities, because they were snitches.
"Freddy was always a stand-up guy," Horse said. "He did not like or respect anyone who was a snitch in sheep's clothing. When he observed Cosby enter the prison cafeteria acting like a clown and mocking inmate's with jokes, it angered Freddy."
