President Donald Trump has made another policy announcement without consulting his advisors. It is an idea which tries to solve two key issues that Republicans are passionate about - guns and abortions.
The US President said that a gun company in Texas has developed a pistol small enough to be fired by a 20 week old foetus. The Baby Glock has enough power to kill a doctor attempting to perform an abortion.
Critics have pointed out that an untrained gun user with a negative age would have a high probability of misfiring the weapon and injuring his or her mother. Also most pregnant women are understandably unwilling to have live firearms placed inside their womb.
However, Trump has dismissed these claims by quoting the second amendment, saying that even the unborn had a right to bear arms. In his words, it was "the best way - the only way - to protect themselves from bad doctors. Very bad."
