DENVER - One of the most popular state senators in Colorado, Senator Jimbo Quickdance [D-Denver] has just announced that he is now the proud owner of a marijuana shop.
The senator has just purchased The Weedeaters Weed Shop from its owner had to move back to Ireland due to marital problems.
Senator Quickdance spoke with Political Salad Bar Magazine and explained why at the age of 53, he has decided to get into the marijuana selling business.
The senator told Sinclair Petaluma with PSBM that ever since he was a little boy he has dreamed of one day owning his own business and now with pot being legal in the state what greater business to own than a pot shop.
The senator stated that his teenage son and daughter have just become the most popular students at their high school.
He added that his wife, Traci Ann, has suddenly had friends from back in her college days calling her up out of the blue.
And the senator said that he has received phone calls from Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, and even one from Mick Jagger all the way from London.
SIDENOTE: There is talk throughout the state that Senator Quickdance may run for governor in the not-too-distant future.
