TOPEKA, Kansas - The governor of Kansas acting on the demands of the citizens of the state has issued a Governor's Proclamation which will allow him to install gigantic fans on the Kansas-Colorado border.
Governor Sam Brownback stated that he has never seen so many angry Kansans as he has now that Colorado has made it legal to buy and use marijuana.
He commented that when the wind shifts from the west to the east a tremendous amount of pot-laden clouds float out of Colorado and into Kansas.
The governor said that many of the elderly residents of Kansas have threatened to move east to Missouri if something is not done.
He did note that there are some college students attending colleges in Kansas who do not mind the smelly clouds, but he quickly noted that most of those students are from other states including Colorado, California, and Nevada.
SIDENOTE: Governor Brownback stated that the only positive thing about the cannabis clouds blowing into Kansas is that it has increased the sale of pizzas at everyone of the state's Pizza Huts.
