We were invited in to hear Preacher Robertson talk to young couples and families.
Phil Robertson stated that he was glad to see the three young married couples there with us and that he felt like he should speak out about certain thangs that most don't want to talk about out in the open.
"We have had healthy babies here because we don't take some of those drugs some docs have you on.
One young man asked me in the back awhile ago if it was OK for them to have sex into the time of the baby's 9th month. I believe it is, cause like I said, we have always taught that in our family and we have a lot of healthy babies.
Course, you may have to adjust yourselves around in the bed and if it's just about time, try some other ways of having fun. I had a midwife tell me that actually it was good to have sex till close to time cause it gets the baby ready to come out. I don't pretend to know what that lady knows but we did agree."
I held up my hand and asked Robertson what about all that boiling water they were always talking about on television shows and movies when someone was having a baby.
He told me that was to get the idiot husband out of the room and out of the way so the women could take care of everything, and laughed.
