"In this age of facebook likes, tweeter twits, doo-hickies, smart phones, and zippy dees, it's rare to find young people reading a book," declares Manny Zahrelik, Ph.D, professor of English Literature and Composition at Philistine University.
Professor Zahrelik was recently taken aback while walking across the quaint Philistine University campus just in time to witness a student, Dustin Thawind, leaning against a tree, reading a book.
"I was dumbfounded!" states Dr. Zahrelik, "The young man had an actual book in his hand, made of paper, with a cover page, a binding, everything! It was astonishing!"
When approached for comment by this reporter, Thawind revealed the aforementioned book. The publication is entitled, "Get Smart-How To Use Your Smartphone To Maximize Social Media Viability."
