London - A giant flying bong from outer space was seen hovering over Camden Square last weekend close to Amy Winehouse's two million quid pad.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing curly plumes of pungent smoke above the NW1 rooftops as the craft spelled out a 'homecoming' con trail message for the 27 year-old singer.
By the morning she was dead.
Camden resident skywatch enthusiast Bert Wobblecock of nearby Agar Agar Grove said at lunchtime today that a cover-up culture had blacked out the news story from going mainstream.
And the UFO was probably reacting to a homing device Winehouse kept inside her bouffant beehive up-do.
"It was only a matter of time before the signal was picked up," he told the New Camden Mercury, "but Amy may already have been dead before her space chariot rendezvous."
The last time a major UFO alert was reported in the area was back in 1982 when NW3 residents claimed to have seen a vast craft over Hampstead Heath.
A subsequent sighting of the same craft over Blackfriars Bridge in the City of London coincided with the mysterious death of 'God's Banker' Roberto Calvi.
Footage of last weekend's flight over Camden has now been posted on the YouBoob! channel.
