The future of the Royal Variety Performance has been thrown into doubt after Prince Charles revealed he was so bored that he was forced to have a conversation with Camilla.
The Prince of Wales, who attends the performance every year, was said to be "dismayed and angry" at the acts that appeared on the show at the London Palladium, which airs on BBC One this evening.
"It really made me angry. It was quite dreadful. The host was alright, a funny enough bloke. But I felt like punching him when he left the stage to be make way for some talentless drones."
Perhaps the most scathing part of the Prince's review came when he was asked which was his favourite act of the evening. The already irate Prince barked, "It had to be those masked fellas who pushed and shoved our car on the way there."
