There was a terrible mistake made by a mob that was protesting the rate hikes in college tuition's in front of Parliament, Thursday.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla lead pretty structured lives, appearing at charity events and fundraisers on a weekly basis. Never are they subjected to the excitement and adrenaline rush they ran into the other night.
It seems Prince Charles, Camilla and their escorts were on their way to a charity event, when they came across a group of protesters that were not where they were suppose to be. Pesky protesters. It appears the mob mistook the Prince and Camilla for the punk band, Kaiser Chiefs, who had a UK number 2 hit song, Off With Their Heads.
The crowd chanted, "Off With Their Heads, Off With Their Heads", once the mob realized it was in fact Prince Charles and Camilla they treated the couple to tea and crumpets, with finger sandwiches.
After everyone realized the obvious mistake all was forgiven and the couple went on to their event without any further incident.
There has not been bad blood between the British citizens and the Royal family in recent memory. But a word to the wise, history has a way of repeating it's self. If Marie Antoinette is any indication of the way Europeans protest against their representatives, the warning bells may be ringing. Is anyone listening?
