George W's secretary Monica Leudinski has announced that he went out today to choose his Trick or Treat costume and ordered a Quark costume.
George W has long been a fan of the Ferengis in Star Trek and loves watching Quark in Deep Space Nine. We understand that he has sets of ears signed by both Armin Shimerman (Quark) and Max Grodénchik (Rom) framed on his bedroom wall. They were originally in the Oval Office when George W was playing president.
A special set of Ferengi clothing is being produced and George hopes to go round Trick or Treating with a pretend phaser.
Monica has been trying to get René Auberjonois, who plays Quark's arch enemy in the series, to join in but René insists that George begins to realise that it is just a story and Odo is not real. When told this George goes into a paddy and shouts, "Tis, Tis, Tis True".
One of the first models George tried to make when his admirer sent him the Lego set was Ferenginar, Quarks' fictional home world.
We hope to have a photo of George in his Ferengi outfit in a few weeks.
