BAA Sheep not Lambs for the Slaughter

Unite Union's vote for strike action against the British Airports Authority (BAA) has the sheep community in uproar. 'This is discrimination against animals' announced the RSPCA 'we strongly urge Unite to think again.'

BAA has yet to react but is not going like a lamb to the slaughter. They will probably negotiate with Unite in time for Farmer George to sit down in peace for his evening meal.

Meanwhile BA (British Airways) has a dispute with staff who help to shepherd customers on and off aircraft. This dispute has being on-going since before Christmas and has involved various legal pitfalls which have hurt the feelings of BA staff.

BAR staff have also had enough of their employers and have threatened to have pubs without beer in the near future.

Barbars have joined in the struggle with their fellow workers by refusing to cut hair, unless they get a better settlement.

All in all we are set for the autumn to be a tough time for many. The Prime Minister has advised the public to stop bleating and not be afraid of shearing in the national interest.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
