The world of football was rocked to its foundations today with the shock dropping of Chelsea Left Back, Ashley Cole, from the Girls Aloud 5-A-Side competition.
Cole, who shares a name with fellow Chelsea player, Joe, was dropped after straying off the pitch during competitions by his manager, Cheryl Cole.
In an amazing twist, insiders from the camp suggest that Wayne Bridge may step into the breach for Cole at Left Back or though others suggest that centre back John Terry may also be keen to slot into the gap.
Ashley Cole's manager, and some say lover, Kia Picasso, did nothing to dispell the rumours by stating "Aha, now he will be mine and mine only"
The other members of Girls Aloud, even that ginger one, were unavailable due to a gagging order taken out "just to be on the safe side" by John Terry.
