Gordon Brown let it be known last night that he may well call a November Election after being called upon by Labour and Conservative party members to set out a firm date.
Mr Brown has had a stressful week in Parliament and the Expenses scandal may well be the final nail in his political coffin.
However there were rumours last night that Mr Brown may be trying to hoodwink his political opponents with playground trickery. Defence Secretary Dennis Conman was photographed coming out of Westminster holding a pile of top secret documents under his arm. Photographs of the documents revealed the words:
"I…Gordon Brown… will call a November Election by merely officially renaming the month of November as 'Election.' Let's see them get out of that one! A-ha. A-ha. A-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!!!!! See what I've done you imbeciles!?! That'll teach them to call me one-eye! That'll show them, the cu**s!!!"
Mr Brown last night denied that this was his plan and said the secret document was just 'bad photography.' He then asked a journalist to pull his finger and said "Jeepers ma hooch! Now that's passing a motion through the house laddie!"
