Gordon Broon has ordered cleaners into Downing Street following the discovery of several smears. Insiders fear that some of the unpleasant stains may be traced back to people close to the Prime Minister.
Nasty brown smear like stains were found near the computers in Number 10. Previously such stains had been found during Tony B Liar's time. Then it had been traced back to Peter (now Lord) Mandy. He often leaves a foul smelling stain behind him.
This time the smears are proving a real embarrassment. One Downing Street insider who wished to remain nameless so we will call him Alan Johnson, said "If it becomes known that Gordon Broon leaves smears, his premiership will be destroyed. No wonder he wants this mess cleaned up. But it's going to cost him. It's a risky business, dirty politics. You think you can control things. But with the lid off a spillage is always a possibility."
Broon hopes to sweep it all under the carpet and make a clean getaway.
