Following Manchester United's second defeat in a week, and Liverpool's triumphant resurgence, scoring four against Real Madrid, four at Old Trafford against United, and five at Anfield against Aston Villa, pundits have been asking the question:
Are Manchester United entering meltdown mode?
The performance at Craven Cottage would appear to suggest so, with United having Paul Scholes dismissed for doing goalkeeping impressions, Cristiano Ronaldo posturing and squawking in a way that would shame any oscar winning actor, and Wayne Rooney red carded for inappropriate ball throwing followed by right hooking the corner flag.
"It's squeaky bum time for United fans, no doubt about it," BBC pundit, ex-Liverpool player, and anti-United activist Mark Loren's-Son told the spoof.
From inside Old Trafford, the lady who makes the tea told us:
"Yeah we've had a blip when we should have cleaned up. But it only makes things more interesting in the long run. We'll do it, don't worry, and that'll make it 18-18 titles with the Scouse infidels.
"Believe."
Following his temper tantrum ball throwing antics, United striker Wayne Rooney has allegedly been approached by the LA Lakers.
