Scientists today launched a pair of stink free y-fronts into space. The pants will be worn by a Japanese astronaut for the duration of the mission. But the idea was developed by British scientists.
Professor Bob Syorunkle is very excited about the experiment. "Having to change your underpants is a real chore. We at WASP laboratories wanted to take British science to a new level. Now you can wear the same pair of y-fronts for a week-two if you turn them inside out."
Britain may have been a long way behind in the space race, but in the pant punt we are steaming ahead. No longer will man have to panic and be late for work. Wear them. Sleep in them. They will never smell.
Already John Prescott, Dale Winton, Terry Wogan and Robbie Williams have expressed an interest. And Prince Charles is very keen on the environmental benefit. An aide said "His Royal Highness is very keen on green underpants. And when you wear them as long as he does then they will always be green."
