Researchers from the University of Chicago have announced completion of a study of intergenerational welfare, i.e., the tendency of welfare recipients to pass that lifestyle from one generation to the next.
The British Royal Family was cited in the study as the prototypical welfare family. According to Professor Nathaniel Rand, who chaired the study, Elizabeth II and her kin epitomize the enmeshment of a sense of entitlement that characterizes the mindset of so many welfare recipients. "She's the ultimate welfare queen", Rand said. "She unashamedly believes that she is entitled to live off the taxpayers and does not feel obligated to do anything in return."
An angry Queen Elizabeth described Professor Rand's research as "utter rubbish."
