Officials from NASA announced today that the Galactic Probe spacecraft has become stuck in the gaseous surface of Uranus. The Galactic Probe had been collecting atmospheric samples of Uranus and was attempting a disengagement maneuver when engineers at mission control in Houston noticed that the probe had become stuck.
NASA astrophysicist Richard Asimov says that he and his crew of scientists and engineers are working around the clock to find a way to get the probe out of Uranus. "This is a real problem", Asimov said to reporters yesterday. "The most exasperating thing is that this seems like such a simple problem of physics, but this thing is really stuck in Uranus and I honestly don't have a solution at this point."
