There was excitement in Mithering on the Trent this evening, when Snotty Bob Gravy was so drunk that he mistook a stop sign for his old mate Andrew.
‘Bob Gravy is the town’s well-known lightweight, able to appear drunk after a pint of lager, so he is often mistaken for being drunk, when in reality he has no tolerance for alcohol, even though he has had years of practice’ said Andrew.
‘I mean, he is a great bloke, when he is sober, but with his tolerance of alcohol, it is very rare that he appears to be completely sober.'
When asked about the incident Bob Gravy asked ‘You mean, that wasn’t Andrew I was talking to? Now you mention it, that makes a lot of sense to me because I got a far better class of conversation out of the Stop Sign than I ever have had out of Andrew.'
‘That’s not nice’ said Andrew, when told about Bob’s comments ‘It is the Give way sign that offers the best advice. The stop sign is just a bit of a git. I bet he reads the Sun and listens to Richard Madeley’s opinion’.
