London - Chelsea Football Club manager Frank Lampard has indicated that, after his side’s disappointing start to the Premier League season, he has been given the go-ahead by his owner to spend up to four billion in transfer fees to bring in every top footballer in Europe before the transfer window deadline on October 5th.
Chelsea spent a record £230 million to bring in top Bundesliga stars like Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulicic over the last year. However, after losing to Liverpool and barely drawing against newly promoted club West Brom, Lampard has determined it’s apparently not enough.
“We will be talking to Messi, Ronaldo, Salah, all of them,” said Lampard.
