Gary Johnson 48, fears that he has lost his sense of humour. It started when he was listening to the comedy slot on Radio 4 at 6.30, and deepened when his wife was watching repeats of Miranda, Not Going Out and Mrs Brown's Boys.
Johnson said 'I was always told I had a good sense of humour, indeed it was all I had to offer Carol when I first met her, but I was listening to some pseudo bullshit show just before the news and the Archers, and I didn't even smirk, and then Carol insisted we watched Miranda, Not Going Out and Mrs Brown's Boys, and everyone was laughing at them, and I just didn't get it. I mean, they really are quite shite, aren't they? But they are sold as comedies. But then I put on Only Fools and Horses, and laughed until I couldn't feel my face.'
Carol looked at Gary, with a smile across her face, and said 'He's a right funny one, isn't he?'
