The London Riots were postponed last night on police advice after a game of football broke out at White Hot Lane between two teams of eleven footballers.
The final day of riots had been pencilled in for early January after the scheduled date in August saw many of the participants go home to charge up their blackberries, vital for communicating with fellow idiots.
Police heeded community advice to postpone the riots when the game of football between Tottingham Heartspurs and Everton kicked off. Aaron 'john' Lennon was on the scoresheet as Tottenham took a commanding 2-0 lead.
The postponement could lead to a riot fixture congestion, with Chinese new year celebrations, Burns Day, valentines day, Easter, the London Marathon and the Queen Diamond Jubilee events all to be policed before the London Olympics.
It's thought that the last day of rioting could be squeezed between the gap of London Olympics and Paralympics in early August, almost a year to the day of the original riots in August 2011.
