Scotland manager Craig Levein has declared himself "proud and honoured to have been comprehensively beaten by Brazil" at the Emirates yesterday.
The bespectacled boss, usually very measured in his post match comments, was positively gushing in his analysis :
"I'm sure I'm not misrepresenting the squad by stating that it was an absolute honour to have been humiliated by such a great team. The fact that the drubbing occurred at such an impressive venue made the whole occasion even more memorable.
The privilege is compounded even more when we recall that it was a raw 17 year old youth (Neymar) who put us to the sword.
As a former boss of Hearts, Leicester, Raith Rovers and Dundee United, I have suffered many drubbings in my time but this was definitely the most enjoyable by far.
I look forward to the prospect of meeting the Samba boys again, perhaps when Neymar is more experienced and even more lethal, and being utterly annihilated in the process".
