Some of the biggest names in football have been gathering today to pay their final respects to former England, Newcastle United and Ipswich Town manager Sir Bobby Robson, who passed away in July after a long illness.
Sir Bobby died on 31 July aged 76 following a long battle against cancer, and his service was held at Durham Cathedral. The service was live on TV and was also beamed to thousands in Ipswich town centre and at St James' Park in Newcastle.
Elsewhere, though, fans of other clubs took the opportunity to 'get in on the act'.
In a series of cataclysmic 'copycat memorials', some fans around the country held their own memorial services in honour of their own particular Sir Bobbies.
Sunderland fans turned out in force to honour Sir Bob Stokoe, and at Anfield, Liverpool supporters packed-out the Kop to pay their final respects to Sir Bob Paisley. There were further celebrations at Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton for, respectively, Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Bob Primrose Wilson and star centre forward, Sir Bob Latchford, none of whom are dead yet.
Speaking of Bobby Robson in sombre fashion at Durham, Gary Lineker told gatherers:
"He was a lion of a man. No, make that three; he was a lion of a three."
Stick to Match of the Day, Gary.
