Wo sind Sie?

There was real drama in Munich last night, when Portuguese champions, Sporting Lisbon, arrived late for their Champions League match with Bayern München at the Allianz Arena, after 'delays' on the way to the game.

The Lisbon team didn't arrive at the stadium until 8.15pm, fifteen minutes after the game had kicked-off, by which time, Bayern were already three goals to the good!

The Portuguese players quickly put their little white kits on, and darted out onto the pitch, but their efforts went unrewarded as the Germans scored four further goals, to add to their 5-0 victory in Lisbon two weeks ago, to leave them whopping 12-1 aggregate winners.

Bayern coach, Jürgen Klinsmann, once of Spurs, said:

"We were brilliant. Mind you, the fact that we were the only team on the pitch for the first 15 minutes was a definite bonus."

Leões' (Lions') manager, Paulo Bento, said:

"We got our tactics all wrong. We should have paid them more respect, and turned up on time, instead of visiting those disreputable taverns and getting hammered."

Swedish referee, Martin Hansssson, told us:

"It's funny, I never know whether to call them Bayern Munich or Bayern München!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
