DETROIT - (Sports Satire) - Sportsapalooza News is reporting that the worst team in the entire 30-team NBA will be changing their name very, very soon.
SN reporter Pia Confetti spoke with the owner of the Detroit Pistons, Tom Gores, who said that he is sick to his stomach at the fact that his team has the worst record in the entire league at (20-58).
Gores noted the the attendance at Little Caesar's Arena has fallen to an average of 803 fans per game.
He stated that he even had a "Dime-a-Beer" night and still only managed to draw 819 fans; including 402 alcoholics.
Gores, who at times will wear a ski-mask when he visits a Detroit Little Caesar's pizza shop, is planning on changing the name from the Detroit Pistons to something more appropriate like the Detroit Pissants.
