Alan Shearsmith, a football pundit here offers us his interpretation of why Donald Trump failed to win a second term.
'The thing is, right, at the end of the day, Trump lost, because he didn't bring his A-game. I think it was over-confidence on Donald's part. I mean, he is a big man, but he is out of shape, so the four years he has had of being president counted for nothing. He thought he could win against Joe Biden, another old man. I mean, have you seen that episode of Father Ted with the old priests. It was like that, really, wasn't it?'
'Other than that,' said Alan, 'as always, he should just have tried to score a few more goals, like, safe, man.'
