Rio de Janeiro, Brazil During the third day after their arrival at the Olympic Village, the entire North Korean track team took off on their latest trial run and never stopped until they reached a foreign border. Some went to Uruguay, some to Paraguay, and the rest to Argentina.
"We thought they were happy here. They kept remarking how much food there was and how delicious it looked. And that was just the dog's food!" said an Olympic representative.
When it was leaked that the North Koreans' plan was to eventually make it to the tip of South America and then swim to Antarctica, the Head of Olympic Security asked, "But why would they want to go there?"
"You've never been to North Korea," was the reply most often given.
