SOCHI, Russia - One of the most popular athletes at the XXII Sochi Olympics is Aruban alpine skier, Margo Hutloop.
The 23-year-old was highly touted to possibly win two gold medals but that is not going to happen.
During an interview with Italy's national news agency, El Vino, Miss Hutloop revealed that she has been a practicing lesbian ever since she was 17.
The word quickly got back to The Sochi Olympics Organizing Committee who had no choice but to terminate her participation in the world games.
Miss Hutloop was devastated and asked what her being a lesbianite had to do with her skiing like the wind down a snow slope.
She was told that rules are rules and everyone received the pre-games pamphlet which clearly pointed out the more than 600 rules, regulations, and requirements that had to be met in order to compete in the Sochi Winter Olympics.
SIDENOTE: The SOOC did tell Miss Hutloop that she can keep the Welcome to The Sochi Olympics Gift Package that every athlete received upon arriving at the Sochi Airport.
