MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota - Vikings special teams coordinator Mike Priefer says that he does not like to see guys skipping or prancing around but he wants it known that he is not homophobic.
Priefer was accused by ex-Vikings punter Chris Kluwe of calling him names such as sissy, fairy, and limp-footed Christine after some of his game punts did not go as far as they should have.
Kluwe also stated in an article which appeared in Sports Balls Illustrated Daily that Priefer had told him that he looked like the type that would ride sidesaddle on a horse.
Priefer denies ever making those remarks and then added "Look if I did make those remarks then I do not remember making them and I really think that Christine, I mean Chris is making them up herself, I mean himself."
SIDENOTE: Chris Kluwe was released by the Vikings on May 6, the day after he told an unnamed player on the team that he loves Cher and he would like to be one of her back up dancers.
