A&E has made a decision to lift Phil Robertson's "Duck Dynasty" suspension. He will not miss one episode of the controversial program. Robertson got into hot water for praising Jim Crow Laws and comparing gay people to terrorists. He also compared homosexuality to bestiality. "This is all supported by the Biblical Scriptures which guide me as a minister," he stated.
Following up on the anti-gay emphasis of the show, A&E announced today that it would be airing a new program called "God And Aids." An A&E spokesman said that the show would produce "credible, Biblical scholars", to prove that God uses Aids to punish gays for "vile sin."
The A&E spokesman also said that the opening segment of the new show would show clips of President Ronald Reagan explaining why he ignored the raging Aids epidemic during his term in office. "Essentially, he was following the advice of the Reverend Jerry Fowl, The Moral Majority, and other people of faith," he said.
