TARZANA - Danica Patrick had just finished racing at The Gary Busey International Speedway when she was approached by a reporter with The Turnstile Review.
Ambrose Appomattox of TR asked her if there was a certain man in her life. The petite, sexy race car driver smiled and nodded that there wasn't.
She then volunteered that she had been having some fantasies lately about a certain California celebrity, who was originally from Georgia.
When asked who that celebrity might be she blushed and said that she has developed quite the crush on Ryan Seacrest of American Idol.
Patrick said that she has watched the show ever since the very beginning when Texas gal Kelly Clarkson won the first year.
Danica said that she has always thought that Ryan was sexy in a special sophisticated kind of way unlike the men she races with on the NASCAR circuit.
When asked if she has ever met "Peaches" Seacrest she smiled and said that she hadn't. Appomattox told her that he knows Ryan fairly well and he is going to see about arranging a dinner date for the two of them.
Danica felt extremely overjoyed and she jumped up in the air nearly as high as an NBA basketball player.
SIDENOTE: Miss Patrick was so thrilled at the prospect of going out on a date with Seacrest that she told Ambrose Appomattox that if he comes through she will personally give him a ride on her #10 race car.
