Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp was cleared of tax evasion by a jury at Southwark Crown Court today.
He spoke of his relief at the end of the five-year ordeal concerning an off-shore bank account and accusations of bungs over the sale of Peter Crouch by Portsmouth, who he then managed.
His chairman at Portsmouth at the time, Milan Madaric, was also cleared.
The news was welcomed at Tottenham, but there were special celebrations at troubled Portsmouth.
Pompey superfan, Jake Seaport, 53, of Cosham, said: "Oi knows he ain't 'ere no more, but it were all abayt what went on 'ere, weren' it? Sellin' Crarchy an'all.
"Tell you what turned it... it was the Queen. S'roight. Everyone knows Her Maj is a doi-'aard Pompey fan and the mooshes on the jury didn't wanna spoil 'err Jubilee thing by throwing all that crap dayn 'ere.
