Fabio Capello may be in breach of his contract by telling an Italian radio station he was not happy about the FA decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy over his court appearance for alleged racism - but last night at Anfield he may have found his new skipper.
In a goalless draw the best performance of the night was from the Anfield cat when he made a pur-fect run into the Tottenham penalty area - and watching England coach liked what he saw.
"Yeeeees, I tink the cat steal da show - and 'eee maybe the only one on the pitch scandal free by da time da euro's start - so 'eee could be capa-tun" said Capello, careful not upset his bosses at the FA again.
Speaking on twitter last night the Anfieldcat said "In my 3 minute cameo I've ran past more players than Stewart Downing has all season."
