Tom Tom, makers of the wildly successful personal navigation devices of the same name, announced today they will add a new model to their line of car and motorbike GPS units.
"After much buying trend analysis, and countless research polls, we found that there was a significant portion of our target market we were not reaching," stated Byron Gains of Tom Tom Unlimited. "Apparently the touch-screen devices are thought to be far too complicated by a certain segment of our population."
Gains continued: "while we certainly feel our products are easy to operate, with little skill involved, and don't really get what the problem is, we hold our customers in the highest regard, and have the utmost respect for them. As such, after much feedback indicating some users inexplicably thought our Tom Tom units too complicated, we have developed a new line of simplified GPS units, without extraneous information, and with nice, big buttons. We call our latest offering "Dum Dum".
