Faced with decreasing enrollment, the U.S. Military has started a new ad campaign proclaiming the thrill and enjoyment of killing Iraqi soldiers and civilians.
"Our last ad campaign was a dismal failure", said Rear Admiral Mark I. Fox. "This new ad campaign should be able to attract inner city youth who would otherwise join gangs and kill Americans. We'd rather have them over there killing those godless Iraqis".
Fox also said that by sending troubled youth overseas it will cut down significantly on crime in the US.
The last television ad portrayed an obviously brainwashed young American soldier standing beside his overweight, middle aged father as the father proclaimed, "he can outrun me". Most young Americans realized that they can outrun their fathers without military training.
The new television ad shows two young American soldiers in a fox hole firing guns at Iraqi citizens and high-fiving each other as the citizens drop. Meanwhile the announcer says, "feel the thrill of the kill". And the caption below reads: "Killing is cool"
Fox pointed out that if you go to war and survive you will lose your sanity and a limb or two but you will have gained full tuition to a community college, so it's not all bad.
